Cancellation policy

Effective Date: July 2026

Public Cruises (Sightseeing, Dinner, and Prosecco Cruises)

Modification: Tickets purchased directly on budbyboat.com can be moved to a different date or time up to 24 hours before the scheduled departure, subject to seat availability on the requested sailing.

Cancellation: Tickets purchased directly on budbyboat.com can be cancelled up to 24 hours before the scheduled departure for a full refund.

Late cancellation: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled departure are non-refundable.

No-show: If a Passenger does not check in and board by the scheduled departure time, this is treated as a no-show and is non-refundable, regardless of when the booking was made or when a cancellation request is submitted. A no-show is separate from, and is not treated as, a late cancellation.

Bookings via third-party platforms (OTA): Tickets purchased through GetYourGuide, Viator, Tripadvisor, Booking.com, Expedia, or other partner platforms must be modified or cancelled directly on the platform where the booking was made, in accordance with that platform's own cancellation policy.

Private, Group, and Corporate Events (Vessel Charter)

Private charters, group bookings, and corporate events are governed by the terms of the individually signed Charter Contract, which sets out the applicable cancellation fees, deadlines, and payment terms specific to that booking. For reference, unless otherwise agreed in writing, the following schedule applies to cancellations initiated by the Customer:

  •     Cancellation within 30 days of the scheduled departure: 100% of the Rental Fee and 100% of the Commission Fee is charged.
  •     Cancellation between 31 and 60 days before departure: 70% of the Rental Fee and 70% of the Commission Fee is charged.
  •     Cancellation 61 days or more before departure: 15% of the Rental Fee and 15% of the Commission Fee is charged.

In case of any discrepancy between this summary and the signed Charter Contract, the terms of the Charter Contract shall prevail.
